The rod shop
grew out of
the fishing.

I’ve been an avid fly angler for years. The more time I spent on the water, the more curious I became about what made a rod feel right. I started building my own personal rods, then began building for friends. Guadalupe Rod Co grew from there—out of a genuine love for the craft and the places these rods are made to fish.

You’ll usually find me somewhere along the Guadalupe, fishing with my daughters at Cypress Bend or Landa Park, or chasing trout when winter comes. I fish the Texas coast too, and those days on the flats shape the conventional and heavier fly rods I build.

I also serve on the board of Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited and support fishing, conservation, and access efforts here in New Braunfels and across Central Texas. This business is personal to me: it connects the rods I build, the water I love, and the people I get to share it with.
